Civil War Re Enactment Photography by Jocelyn Stephenson.
This scene was captured at the Civil War Re Enactment commemorating the 150th anniversary of the fall of Fort Anderson.
Located along the Cape Fear River, Fort Anderson was the last line of defense for the port at Wilmington NC.
With the fall of the fort, the supply line for General Lee's Confederate Troops in Virginia was virtually cut-off.
