Every time that we went to this restaurant in Southport, NC. we were greeted by the hostess with, ''it will be about a ten minute wait''.
On one occasion,we were the first customer and it appeared that she was 'rehearsing' for the rest of the day.
You guessed it - ''Good morning and welcome, it will be about a ten minute wait''!!?
