''Stone Bridge'' by Bob Sample of PKS Images Photography.
This old stone bridge was built in 1820 by Abram Blanding who was 'Acting Commissioner' of Public Works with Joel R. Poinsett as the President. It came to be referred to as Poinsett's Bridge.
At the time this was a state road from Greenville South Carolina to Ashville North Carolina.
